Start Downtown and Nucleus are organizing the Dayton Collaboration Network to better connect startups and entrepreneurs with established businesses, mentors, and technical service providers that can help them get their endeavors off the ground. Network members will provide discounted or bartered services, consultation, mentoring, and other support to entrepreneurs.
The Dayton Collaboration Network will be comprised of both members and referral agencies. Network members agree to provide services and support to startups as outlined below. Referral agencies are those organizations that work with startups and can refer an entrepreneur to support from one of the Network members.
The Dayton Collaboration Network will have roles for mentors, professional service providers, and entrepreneurs:
Network members who volunteer as mentors attend Early Risers events and provide “Open Office Hours” to startups throughout the year.
These professionals agree to provide services like marketing, accounting, legal, and more at discounted rates and also host Open Office Hours.
Startups who access the network agree to pay it forward by providing mentoring and discounted services to other entrepreneurs.
